They say the Apple 
doesn’t fall far from the tree, however, did you know that when an apple falls to the ground , it , when not consumed, becomes fertilizer
for the tree. Which of course helps the tree to continue to grow and flourish!

In this case my beautiful daughter has become this old tree’s
fertilizer for sure and it’s through her example that I have decided to
jump feet first into the opening of the Just Chill Custom Gifting By
Carol Showroom & Shopping Parlor ( affectionately known as the " Showroom North").
You see, I knew a VERY long time ago that my daughter Ariel would be a success,
from a young age she’s been a powerful presence in a petite little
package. This once shy and reserved young girl has very quickly become a
force to be reckoned with as a budding young entrepreneur and skin
care specialist.
Starting at the age of 24 Ariel worked tirelessly to craft what is
now one of central New York’s sought after skin care service spots; the Meraki Skin Co. . It was in the month of
September in 2020 when Ariel opened the Meraki Skin Co. at her Homer Location at the Center for the Art's Fountain House, and in doing so she
has successfully provided her clients with a space that is full of
positive energy. It is a space that has been thoughtfully created to provide her clients and experience that is both internal and external
cleansing. Ariel’s space is warm, inviting, and invigorating all at the same time.
Ariel hosts a number of clients from as far away as Pennsylvania!
Offering them an array of skin care services and pampering
opportunities, with one of the best product lines around ( Green Envee). .
In true Ariel fashion, she has carved out a spot among her peers
and she has etched her name in stone to be among some of the best skin
care specialists within our region!
The Tree ( and... still growing)
So it would only be fitting that nestled only a couple feet away from her establishment, fate would have it that I would soon come to house my very own little gem 
of a shop! The Showroom North @ the Fountain House .
When I started Just Chill Custom Gifting By Carol the idea was to
spread a little joy and kindness within my community, especially after
nearly a year of our collective pandemic madness. Whew 
I originally thought this venture would remain comfortably settled
in my home in Groton NY, however, as time went on and my imagination
grew more abstract and in abundance, so to did the need to expand my
services and myself outside the bounds of my homestead walls.
As life would and will always do, it forced me to climb out of my
comfort zone and as luck would have it, right on in to my little nook
nestled here at the Fountain House right here in Homer NY* only minutes away from my hometown Cortland and my current home in Groton.
Having the space in Homer has enabled me to invite my
clients into a space that is truly magical! It is a space where I can connect with my clients one on one about my basket designs, their gifting needs, and to just connect with the community. Moreover, this expansion has also freed up space in
my design studio to welcome in even more creative basket and gift box
creations to share with my clients.
The Showroom, adorned with visuals of a Victorian past, coupled with the
scents and tastes of the present , the showroom & shopping parlor
is a beautiful place to gather privately in a small group*with your
friends, your honey, your family, or your business associates.
I invite you to take a moment to browse our custom made specialty basket selections, sip some
“ Unicorn 
Juice” ( our signature blue tea), nibble on a tasty treat, or shop for
